Today is my 37th birthday and I have a special message I want to share. ❤️❤️❤️
First I want to encourage to follow my mentor in accessibility. The one that has taught me the nuance of game design and is a constant source of encouragement and inspiration in the industry.

Thank you @cherryrae for all that you do in pushing this industry forward.
Second I want to highlight @ianhamilton_. Ian was literally the first person I met in the video game accessibility community. His passion for accessibility is shown every day. He co-created the @GA_Conf which is the prominent conference for accessibility.
David Tisserand @TisserandDavid and his work behind the scenes at Ubisoft deserves so much praise. He constantly lifts up the other teams more than himself. He has pushed for so much accessibility, he is largely responsible for why Ubisoft is the leader it is today.
My fellow TLOU2 consultants @superblindman @JamesRath @DAGERSYSTEM @momoxmia @PaulAmadeusLane. We mighty few. I am so super proud of the work you all did. This group y'all worked so hard in guiding one of the largest studios in the industry to make accessibility happen.
To @Gangles @thegreatbluebit @PortableKingpin and to all the @Naughty_Dog team, you changed the industry. Not only with a masterpiece of a game, but with your passion to make a masterpiece in accessibility. Thank you for all the work you do.
My @CanIPlayThat crew @CyclopediaBrain @thepuppiesNpink @Super_Crip1994 @Ben_Bayliss @AStraww. They have worked tirelessly and put their blood, sweat and tears into what they do. And to see what Susan's vision has become, she would be so proud.
My new friend @Charalanahzard who is a leader in the industry and is so amazing at what she does. She has pushed for accessibility so much and is a true advocate for disabled players. She cares so much for other people with her countless charity streams, she is a true hero.
To my friends at @GameA11yNexus and @DAGERSYSTEM we are doing this all together. You all provide perspectives that are needed in this industry. I am amazed at the work you all do!
Everyone should follow @StaceyofGotham. She is a ray of sunshine and has an amazing perspective on cognitive accessibility that should not be ignored. Stacey is the best and you should all follow and watch her content!
My dear friend @LadieAuPair one of the co-creators of the @GA_Conf and is a strong advocate in Xbox for accessibility. The reason why I have so much faith in what Microsoft and Xbox is going to do for accessibility is that I know Tara is day-in and day-out fighting for us.
To my friends in the Microsoft/Xbox accessibility team @brycej @KaitlynJones_ @BrannonZ @jetuser @jennylayfluffy . You work so tirelessly to push accessibility and gaming for everyone that we wouldn't be where we are as an industry without your tireless work.
To my friends at @AbleGamers @craigums @stevenspohn @markbarlet @GregJHazy congrats on all the work you do and all the huge amounts of money you raised this year that will help so many disabled players. You are making a difference.
That's it for now, I will more than likely add more. But follow the above people, please. They are great voices in this industry.
Another pair of people I want to highlight is @JamesBergCanada and @ea_accessible. Those two are doing amazing work over at EA to make their franchises accessible. They truly are making a difference!!!
Another stalwart in the industry is @sightlessKombat. His insight into blind gaming is one I do look at as well. Him along with Brandon I look to as sightless gamers to help me understand that aspect of blindness I do not know and have helped me immensely.
Also one of my fellow Ubisoft pals @DeafGamersTV. Chris is the absolute best. I met him at an Ubisoft workshop a few years ago and have been constantly astounded by the work he does to promote the deaf / hard of hearing community. His twitch streams are also amazing!
You can follow @stevesaylor.
