Just because Luba is a woman doesn’t make her immune to criticism, nor does it mean that good faith critiques of her must be because of the outfits she posts on Instagram.
Pieces like this shroud barriers women in sports are facing that Luba is only strengthening - like when she defends her client’s harassment of women and chooses to represent players accused of sexual battery - in a “girl boss” style veil that is harmful to everyone.
I don’t want to take away any credit for what Luba has achieved professionally. There should be more women (and non-cishet white dudes in general) as player agents and in front offices. But at the end of the day, her brand is still carefully curated to appeal primarily to men.
