I will do something more comprehensive in the week but I’d thought I would do a quick scout for potential replacements for Campbell [THREAD] https://twitter.com/stokecity/status/1338136889270935552
I will look for players who match Campbell’s talent under the age of 26, and can still play when Campbell returns.

Minimum standards have been set for
Conversion rate%
Shots p90
xA p90
Touches in box p90
Shots on target%
Dribbles p90
First up Championship:

Josh Koroma, 22, Huddersfield - he’s doing great at the moment, no chance Stoke can sign him.

Koroma is actually Campbell’s most similar counterpart in the league of similar quality. (Except for Ayew but hes too old)
League 1:

Keane Lewis Potter, 19, Hull
Plays regularly on left, right footed.

Fantastic finisher, and plays a high volume of dangerous passes. Dribbles less and crosses less than Ty.

Hes a star, he will play premier league no question and Hull wont let him go cheap.
Ryan Longman, 20, Brighton (Wimbledon loan)

Good dribbler, although dribbles less than Ty
Ok, volume of shots and good conversion rate
High volume of key passes and is comfortable with receiving long balls.

Probably not ready for Championship, but is an exciting prospect.
Siriki Dembele, 24, Peterborough

Hes ready for championship and is outgrowing league1.

Excellent dribbler
Great passer and creative.
Solid finisher
More of a winger than a striker, like Ty
Playing more upfront this year, experience will do him well to play the Campbell role.
I really like Dembele, but Peterborough dont want to sell him now theyre pushing for promotion. Contract expires in 2021, we might be able to force their hand and pick up a really good player.
Couldnt find any league 2 players from a quick search

Premier league:

Gray would be amazing but hes beyond us I believe.

Michael Obafemi, 20, Southampton
Hes quick, good with both feet and an exciting player whose desperate for first team football for Euros.
Hard to comment on Obafemi without watching him. Not getting much gametime at Southampton but he’s worth a look at.
Scotland

Cedric Jan Itten, 23, Rangers

Signed for few million in summer, only making substitute apperances.
Numbers will be misleading because of that, but hes got good shooting, creative and dribbling stats.
Worth a look but unlikely.
Kevin Nisbet, 23, Hibernian

All round really solid but dosent offer much with passing. Largely only plays upfront so perhaps not a suitable fit for Stoke’s wing. Good player though and his numbers make him worth scouting for.
Brandon Barker, 24, Rangers

A forgotten man at Rangers. Like Itten, his numbers will be misleading.

Good dribbler, finisher and high volume of key passes.

If you look at his stats, you wont be impressed but this is a man desperate to find a home.
If we want to be shrewd operators we need to get players who are lost and be able to salvage their careers.

O’Neill was impressive when turning average players into Euro qualifiers.
He will have to do the same for Stoke
Other players who didn’t fit the criteria but could be potential targets:
Malik Wilks, Hull
Luke Jephcott, Plymouth (i love him please sign him Stoke)
Jake Young, Forest Green Rovers
Bez Lubala, Blackpool
Charlie Kirk, Crewe
James Scott, Hull
Gwion Edwards, Ipswich
And thats it for now, any suggestions comment below. Will look to do something more comprehensive soon.
