They have never had to fight for the survival of a rust belt town shipping jobs overseas or felt the hopelessness of being trapped in a public school system pushing trans ideology on their kids. These people are wealthy, tenured, and isolated from bad policy...
...and like any other elites, Christian or not, exude classist attitudes toward common people. Except with Christian elites, they cloak it in a patronizing air of faux concern for all the “wayward, deceived people caught up in idolatry.”

...they love their born and unborn neighbors, and they love their families. Most are capable of more nuanced thought than than people like French— but unlike French, they are too busy repairing a steel stamping machine to spend a day translating it into French’s flowery rhetoric.
