Thread: This week, I reported how GOP Rep. Steve Hambley failed to isolate when exposed to covid-19 and later showed up to a Dec. 2 committee meeting after testing positive 11/22 and 11/28.
Cheryl Vann Hambley, via Facebook, just sent me a response: https://ohiocapitaljournal.com/2020/12/10/before-outbreak-infected-house-gop-lawmaker-skirted-covid-19-guidelines/

What's most significant to me, is there's no reference to Steve Hambley testing positive Nov. 28 (which he told me in an interview). Not a lick.
He also told me he spent 90 minutes with his aide who tested positive. But now all of a sudden, it's a "might or might not have" deal

Here are the CDC's quarantine guidelines. They're not really negotiations here. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/quarantine.html
Rep. Hambley made a million personal considerations, but, after learning he was exposed to the coronavirus, entered an indoor committee room with others present.

There's nothing in the statement to say any line in this article isn't true.
Read the statement. Read the CDC guidelines. Read the story. Decide for yourself if this was a responsible handling of COVID-19 in the workplace and seat of government https://ohiocapitaljournal.com/2020/12/10/before-outbreak-infected-house-gop-lawmaker-skirted-covid-19-guidelines/
