The architecture
Dresden is filled to the brim with architectural masterpieces, ranging from the late middle ages to the architecture of the gdr. Just visiting these buildings all over the old town is journey in itself, there is so much to discover. 1/2
The most notable architecture is from the late 17th and early 18th century, in which the ruler of Saxony invested loads of money, to make Dresden his own little Versailles. This ranges from the city centre to the greater area of Dresden like Pillnitz, Pirna and Moritzburg. 2/2

Dresden is a city that embraces his art and is world known standpoint for important galleries, music, theatres and opera houses. The world famous Madonna is here, such as more modern and classic masterpieces, one of the most astonishing jewellery collections.. 1/3

Dynamo Dresden
@DynamoDresden is the footballing heart of the city. Formed in 1953 Dynamo went on to win 8 league titles, 7 cups and beat the likes of Juventus, Atletico, Benfica and Liverpool in Europe. They produced 1996 Ballon d'Or Winner Mathias Sammer. 1\\3
After the reunification Dynamo lived through 3 turbulent decades of struggle, and now find themselves in the third tier of German football. Nonetheless, the support from the people of Dresden has never stopped, 2\\3
And Dynamo still has one of the most passionate fanbases in all of Europe. The club is one of the most important institutions in the city and something, that you have to experience. 3/3

Recreation
Dresden itself is a hub for things you can do in the surrounding area, for example the nearby Sand stone mountains, absolutely stunning scenery and easy to access. The Erzgebirge is another field of culture and scenery, just waiting for you to be discovered. 1/2
The Czech Republic and Prague are just an hour maximum away, and Dresden also has its lushious parks and floors. Just take a walk and enjoy the nature! 2/2
