5 things you MUST think about before you even start creating your content (eBooks, Infographics, Ads etc.)

- THREAD -

❗️NUMBER 5 is a tip you will always use for your Instagram and Facebook ads❗️
1. Color

Think about the vibe and message you want to express in your design,

For e.g. If you are creating a eBook cover for a weight loss product, you would want to use a natural green, because green symbolizes health, life and peace in a subconscious way.
2. How to lead he viewer to a certain element of the design.

You are going to use color again here...
For e.g.

Use the same color from your image (eyedropper tool) on your text.

This make the viewer subconsciously happy by giving them consistency and it also draws their attention to a specific element in your design.
3. Context

This will help you deliver the message more efficiently & also gives your design more depth...
For e.g.

If you are creating an advert for a course on crypto currency, Include icons and symbols of things like Bitcoin.

This makes the viewer instantly understand and relate to your ad.
4. Use contrasting fonts.

This means use fonts that go well together in a neat and visually pleasing way...
For e.g. Use a Bold heading and a light sub heading, or Use a light colored heading and a strong vibrant dark color on sub heading.

This is why you should download fonts with many typefaces, this gives you more options that go well together. (For e.g., Ariel and Myriad Pro)
5. Create a Starting point

Create a focal point in your design, in other words a part of your design that people will look at FIRST!...
For e.g.

You can do this by making a certain image big and ungrouped with Space around it.

A good example is the quotes you see on Instagram, before reading the quote and watermark etc., you will notice you always look at the image FIRST! See how that works…
