Leftists that are aware of Irish history have a bad habit of reducing the Irish struggle against whiteness and empire to Ireland when in fact Irish immigrants in many cases sided with PoC in the Americas.

The fact that this history is relatively obscure is intentional.
I did not use the term Irish Americans on purpose.

The Irish American identity is in ny opinion the solidification of the Irish as white and the end of this struggle in the Americas.
A lot of folks are thinking I'm referring to Irish support of the IRA while thats true I'm referring specifiicly to anti-imperialism in the Americas such Saint Patrick's Battalion and Irish involvement various revolts such as Bacon's Rebellion.
