Moon in Virgo could be as early as 4', and as late as 16, so term Mercury or Venus. I think term Mercury even though your first guess might be Venus. Will explain.

So at 12:00 am 6/28, Merc 13 24 and applying to Sirius 16"

If 3:00 am, Merc 13 40' bang on Sirius 0' 0" - likely right? At least nearby.

If 5:00 am, Merc 13 50' so separating by 10" but still not inconceivable because Sirius would precess over Sirius

If 7:00 am, Merc 14 01 so separating by 20' but still possible since precession...

Would have meant Sirius over Mercury in 1996. Based on this logic, we can keep extending out to noon then Sirius approaching natal Merc but not there yet as exact pass is 2027.

So think 1st half of day is more likely & quite possibly Sirius precessing over Merc is quite close.

These powerful fixed stars precessing over natal planets is a whole study unto itself, and due to low frequency (only 1x per lifetime and relatively rare) they tend to be overlooked. But if you want to know why someone is literally lighting up across the planet...

if ever lucky enough to retire from dayjob & only trading & astro then I'll try to compile a database of these...

Back to Elon. Based on Sirius thinking 12:00 am to pm. If this correct, then Asc chances are:
Aries, Tau, Gem, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Lib

But also think night chart.

Continuing now with big time success, TSLA up like 600%, S&P500 co, 2nd richest person, etc, all Sun-Moon.

If correct on night series then Asc = Aries, Tau, Gem or very early Cancer but that's cutting it close with Sun 5'

Now of these possibilities fine tuning gets a little difficult and I don't have all morning to do this.

Aries rising? Sure, Mars ruling Asc in WS 11
Tau rising? Doesn't seem as likely but Venus is in tight trine to that Mars and would put Mars NN in WS 10, so cannot be ruled out

Gem rising possible but much later than 5am means Moon in term Venus; again not totally impossible given Venus in term of Mars and tight trine to Mars, but his relationships notoriously difficult and workaholic so prefer term Mercury

Back to 5am idea, Merc 13 50' would have had Sirius precessing over 1983 so that's a bit early.... anyway all this is judgment call and I haven't done data study to see how long these type of fixed star precessions could play out.

If Gem rising then that Merc ruling Asc...

And Moon still in term Merc. This is all speculation.

He also has Saturn just separating from opp to Neptune and part of his drive has been idealistic vision of accelerating away from carbon energy. Oh and Jupiter tightly sextile Pluto.

Again if night he has never been more famous, currently in Sun-Moon firdaria; and here's usual bi-wheel from today with:

tr Jup just separating from sxt Jup
tr Mars sxt Mars
tr NN over Venus

And I did not check all these transits before thinking to see what was going on... :)

So all this was to try to determine what term Moon is in...

Mercury is term of Merc

Venus in term of Mars, and tightly trine Mars

Mars in its own term and about 1 week from station

Jupiter Rx in term of Saturn, rather curious; but ruled by that Mars and sxt Pluto explains

Saturn sign & term of Mercury, so there is both idealism from opp Neptune in Sag, and the intellectual weight, he likes to tackle hard mental challenges

Uranus in term of Mercury; ruler Venus in Air, and we know Mercury not acting like typical Cancer due to Sirius

Neptune Sag-Jup

Pluto Virgo-Mars, this is a very hard working segment of GenX, extreme criticism possible but also here's the engineer

So I'm not going to go into detail on house positions & angles because my rectification is very speculative

But bottom line here:

If you didn't know about Sirius you don't get it
If you don't check ephemeris and know Mars 1 week from station you don't get it, esp with that NN!

And the terms add a lot

Sun in term Mars, he is not a homebody Cancer. Bourdain had this placement too and though a chef and emotionally astute no one would think wimp
