I feel I need to tell a story about Rachael Swindon.. I love this Twitter socialist family and have found it to be a lifeline the last couple of years, so many like-minded people, good debates and news, but recently there has been quite a lot of negative stuff @Rachael_Swindon
Being a passionate Jeremy Corbyn supporter, I followed Rachael and many others and would check in daily, not commenting much but just to read, meanwhile in early 2019, my 13 year old grandson Jack who had been fighting Leukaemia since 2017 had become too unwell to receive a bone
Marrow transplant, after extensive research we found an alternative treatment, which needed to be funded privately, we set up a gofundme and organised a pub quiz, thing was getting it publicised, being Rachael had lots of followers I emailed her, she
Didn't know me or my family from adam, asked her to publicise Jacks appeal on her page, she did and the result was a flurry of kind donations, she also asked if she could drop round a few things for Jack, and said she would come to our quiz night, unfortunately Jack passed away a
Week before the quiz, we decided to carry on with the quiz and the funds raised would now go to the charities that helped him..Rachael came to the quiz with her daughter and it was a successful and moving evening. raising over a £1000 in total.

Know Rachael well But I do know she is a true socialist, kind hearted and the salt of the earth, who cares about people and This country's future, as well as being a damn good writer, she does what she can to make this world a better place, as well as her own personal struggles.
We don't all have the same views, that's fine, we can choose to support someone or not, if not then just scroll on by, nastiness from people who have never met her speaks volumes about themselves not Rachael.
