Trump cheated in 2016...with the aid of a foreign enemy. He cheated when he sought to blackmail Ukraine...and was impeached for it. He has cheated repeatedly this year. And the GOP was with him every step of the way.
The GOP has fully supported and defended and empowered his corruption, his racism, his attacks on our allies, his embrace of our enemies, his human rights abuses at our borders, his attacks on the rule of law, his obstruction of justice, his lies and his lies and his lies.
Today they are in lockstep with him attacking our democracy. There is no GOP apart from Trump. They are one in the same. When Trump is no longer president, the GOP will still be Trumpist. They share the same political DNA and represent the same profound threat to our system.
