The handwringing about which stories *can* be told with teenagers as protagonists and in which way is ridiculous. E*up*horia is a show ABOUT teenagers that isn't necessarily made with a PG-13 or younger audience in mind.
Woke twitter pls do realize that a) yes, teenagers often do fucked up things; b) it's ok to depict those things in a fictional work, rather than pretending reality doesn't exist; c) some stories with teenagers as protagonists are actually aimed at ADULTS
(idk, maybe the same adults who did, or were subjected to, the same fucked up stuff when they were teens. Newsflash, every adult person at some point was a kid, and then a teen, and maybe they have unresolved trauma or baggage they can find some catharsis for in a tv show)
