Re: modelhub, keep in mind it’s entirely possible they are suspending sales temporarily to fix potential compliance issues and hopefully work things out with V/MC. It doesn’t necessarily mean RIP the site is gone, I’m betting it means they’re working on a solution.
Whether that solution will be effective is another story but in the meantime u know what *doesn’t* help anyone? Panic and assumptions. You know what does? Taking time to gather yourself before considering the options available to us and before speaking.
The rest of our platforms are untouched *for now* and that means if you are someone who likes to distract w work, it’s a great time to hustle on those sites. If you are someone who needs time, take a few hours or the day for yourself and try to forget the internet exists.
I promise you, as impossible as it feels, if you can manage to take some time for yourself, you can come back with a fresh mind ready to consider all available options and make a game plan. What might that look like? Start with an email list. That’s first on my agenda.
Keep in mind as you frequent social media today many ppl are extremely scared and rightfully so, *but* that doesn’t mean we have to internalize it. That doesn’t mean we’re helpless. That doesn’t mean we have no options. Spreading information /= encouraging everyone to freak out
