The younger fans might not know how much a teenage McCall did for our club and community in the aftermath of the fire. Like he did on the pitch, he stood up and was counted. He led us to the Premier League when he returned, then led the survival mission, against the odds.
He epitomises the fighting spirit of the club and although I’ve never met him, I, like many, have written to him & received a hand written reply. Its heartbreaking that things went wrong this time. Success with him would have been so sweet. Nothing was too much. He loves the club
He was one game off leading us the Championship second time and was appallingly treated by the owners the next season.

Absolutely gutted it hasn’t worked out for him this time. It still feels like there is unfinished business, but the club had to shake things up and give a
New man January to patch up this badly assembled side.

I just hope Stuart is all right. He feels the defeats more than a normal manager and it can’t have been good for his health. Always a City legend for me and an outstanding man who gave his all for #bcafc
