I worked a science TV doc where one presenter (a WoC) was nervous in front of camera and flubbed a few lines - nothing major.
Exec producer: "Viewers won't think she's qualified. We should check if she *actually* has a PhD from a *proper* university - not an old poly." (2/4)

Nobody doubted the credentials of the men who needed SO MANY takes
