Reminder: The Good Friday Agreement can be undermined and breached in any number of ways. Focus is on a border which the NI protocol is designed to avoid. In my view however the biggest threat to the GFA post-brexit will be divergence on citizens rights.

That Irish & British citizens in NI will have a different set of rights already undermines the principles of parity of esteem & equality. Core component of the GFA is ensuring no detrimental or differential treatment between the two main communities, Brexit creates differentials.

We've already seen attempts to undermine the applicability of the ECHR in NI - which underpins the Good Friday Agreement.

All of us must be vigilant in order to spot these divergences if we are to ensure that the GFA is fully protected.
