Wow. Responses to Joseph Epstein’s essay are harsh.
Although that seems like it could be a comment from someone today about Epstein’s demeaning WSJ op-ed, it was, rather, part of a response to a demeaning Harper’s essay that Epstein wrote literally 50 years ago. Then, it was us homosexuals he was demeaning.
