to be honest i don’t care if other fandoms will do selca day or raise a hastagh for their idols on december 18, just like i don’t comfortable with non-fans telling us how to treat jh i also don’t want to police them how to mourn. we're mourning in different ways.

everyone entitled on their opinions, but for me, instead of canceling hastagh and selca day, the respect that i really hope from non-fans is to stop using jh’s name when bad things happened in kpop, to stop making up stories about him and reducing him as a tragedy porn.
i’m aware that the world, the industry will keep moving on and i can’t stop all events on that day every year. i know that some of us are upset and dissapointed with this, but believe me, people do their own fandom stuffs, won’t make jh less valid and being forgotten. he has us.
so maybe instead asking people to canceling selca day or create hastagh, keep spreading positivity to keep his legacy alive. please stop fighting, please acknowledge that the one who will get dragging and hurt by this is no one but jh himself. please be kind to each other.
