I've definitely reeled in my stanning for Andrew Yang. Not because I support him any less, but more so I can focus on other things that make me happy and I don't get caught in a toxic whirlpool of politics. I'd like to get a few things off my chest real quick though.

Andrew deserves and has always deserved criticism and scrutiny. I only ask that that criticism be valid, and based in reality. I was directly involved in his campaign and understand his stance almost perfectly. Most things I see floating out there is literally made up.

I've heard him get called a socialist, libertarian, technocrat, republican, etc. It's a frustrating coincidence that people will slot him into whatever group they want to hate that day, for convenience. If anything, he's a progressive SocDem, and if you dont like it, sorry?

It genuinely blows my mind that people can listen to Andrew talk and not come away believing that he's just trying to help. He might be off-base sometimes, but he's shown an open willingness to listen to people and work with others. His vision is positive. Period.

I support his potential bid for NYC mayor. I trust Andrew as a intelligent and genuine adult. I believe he will do what he thinks will help the most people. That's basically my only stance on that. I wish him the best.

Maybe it's because I think very similarly to Andrew, but its upsetting that a candidate run a campaign on data, and some folks pretend he's making stuff up. We can argue about the nuances of his solutions, but his recognition of the problems are near perfect. Focus.

I think I'm done. Andrew Yang is succeeding. I hope he will be president some day, but he has forever changed politics. And for the better. Not only does he want to directly help the greatest number of people possible, but we can do that without unnecessary hate.
