(1/10)I drove past today’s action to develop my own understanding and insight.
Here are a handful of thoughts and how they specifically pertain to Saskatchewan politics.
A Crossroad.

(2/10)To write it all off as lunacy and not give credence to the amount of people it attracted will be the first misstep.
Our political history is one of putting into power a VIABLE third option.
I won’t expand on that trend in this thread but it must be kept in mind...

(3/10)Moe has a political game of low vibration...but it isn’t low enough to be successful in how he envisions his outcomes.
The SaskParty has taken their base for granted and as fools.
More importantly, Moe cannot lead or conspire - that opens up two areas for the taking.

(4/10)A lockdown is clearly a last option to regain some kind of control over this virus spread.
It would ALSO be the people being forced to cover the asses of those that used the instability for political advantage. ie @PremierScottMoe

(5/10)After a united effort to successfully “flatten the curve” we were denied the resources and leadership while victim to mixed messaging leading into the SK election.
Now, with COVID cases higher than ever and “lockdown” back in the narrative - a complex mindset has emerged

(6/10)Enter “Freedom Rally” -
I saw signs for Anti-mask, anti-lockdown, COVID hoax, etc.
I saw Treaty 4 & “Wear a Mask” signs, as well.
I also saw a PPC/Nationalist presence. And given Saskatchewan’s history...this is concerning.

(7/10)What I took away from today’s crowd (that was in the hundreds) is the beginning of Saskatchewan’s third option.
However, it’s direction is still up for the taking. It seems inclusive and somewhat diverse (obviously an overwhelming white demographic) but nonetheless...

(8/10)If anything, it gives insight into distrust - especially towards a party that has campaigned on transparency and is the furthest thing from.
I see the “freedom movement” growing and attracting smart minds (motives spanning).

(9/10)And given the SaskParty’s sense of entitlement and mismanagement of their bases’ intelligence there is now a void up for grabs...
To be taken by that of true enlightening leadership or that of an even more destructive political agenda.

(10/10)Moe’s inability to lead gave rise to an instability that he will lose total control over.
Those of us that have been critics saw this as soon as Wall left.
The SaskParty needs a full reckoning, admit their wrongs, drop Moe and steer this ship properly.
But they won’t.
