When I see edits or fanarts where Neferpitō is happy and living a normal life along their brothers, I REALLY drop some tears instantly because of this:

Togashi is such a genius to build characters personality and vibe as if they were real people.

So, I see in their look the +

purity of a little naive animal no different than my cats and plus a child that has been no more than two or three months knowing the world again just with the instinct that left from their past life.

They literally didn’t knew that they were gonna end their life so soon, and they literally didn’t have the time to experiment the love and care that any small animal or child just like them could deserve.

In another life they could have had someone to love and protect and someone who loved them and protected them.

Just like the cats or children that we hug every day and look at us with those expanded and lovely pupils knowing absolutely nothing +

about the consequences that following their instincts have under the human rules.
