Levelle Moton on making UNC-NCCU a more regular series: “We’ve been trying to schedule games.”

He says Roy called him on Wednesday and after talking for five minutes, they agreed to play today.

I asked Moton what it would mean for UNC to potentially make a return visit to NCCU.

“It’d mean the world to us.”

He then spent two minutes talking about how close he and Roy have become.

Levelle on his relationship with Roy: “He’s been phenomenal to me ... He’s always welcomed me with open arms. I’ve even at times felt like a member of the Carolina basketball family.”

He says after George Floyd’s death this summer, they had really substantive conversations.
