Katy Perry's chart is actually quite extraordinary and well worth study.

By her Firdaria she entered into a Moon period between 2015 and 2023. Judging from her chart I would say motherhood is a spiritual experience for her.

Like wise the moon is limited by its conjunction with Saturn, so this is a time of much reflection and limitation for her. I would not say Motherhood is easy for her.

However with Jupiter conjunct Mars ruling the 5th. I would say she was compelled to be a mother.

Another way of looking at the 5th though is that through music, creativity and the illusion of sexuality Katy Perry was able to vastly increase hers. One can see this through the association of the 2nd and 5th through Jupiter.

Another fun thing to look at is Zodiacal Releasing for her. This case is quite cut and clear. In 2007 her L1 became Sagittarius, Ruler of the natal 2nd... and her career took off. Then Capricorn became ruler of her L1 in 2019 when she became a mother.

The ruler of her 7th is Venus in Sagittarius in the second. Now she may be an overbearing wife of a beautiful philosophical person. But the partner would certainly have a wandering eye.

I wonder who @katyperry astrologer is. I have heard she has studied the art a bit herself.

The very first line in her last album "Smile" is "I am loosing my self control..." Indicating she has entered a time dominated by Saturn in her life. This is found in ZR and annual Profections. Her way through this time is of course Saturn then.

As much as astrology is fun as a predictive model, I still think its greatest service is as a guide to the "energetic waves of the times" and how you can best navigate them. Now whatever you want to navigate towards... that is totally up to you.

A good astrologer is not going to tell you what to aim for, just the map on how to get there. So, I try to ask my clients what they want and listen to their response, then build the reading around that.

For instance, if Jupiter rules the 5th, that Jupiter is going to produce an energy that either encourages pleasure, creativity, or children. It is not my job to tell the native which their soul yearns for, rather it is my job as an astrologer to say when that Jupiter is ripe.

So Katy Perry was in a Moon phase by Firdaria, which has associations with motherhood. Then when Firdaria entered Moon/Mars, the Mars in Conjunction with Jupiter activated the 5th by force of its energy. She thus created a Daisy.
