Alright, adding to the little dig I did on the NE eq's etc. Let take a bigger look at EQ's, DUMBs and EQ's outside of the standard zones again. But nationally this time. Last time I did this there weren't any quakes in the NE at all.. now, well lets just say its interesting...

This map represents 3 total things. The last 20,000 eq's in the US above a 2.0 on the Richter scale, shown by depth. Orange is 0-33KM as shown on the chart on the left. A few deeper than 33km, but not many. Mostly on the West Coast in the subduction zone where those are normal.

Second, my obviously favorite to use potential DUMB location and tunnel map. Lines up SOOO well every where...
Third, the red-blue hazard zone map, which shows where EQ's are common vs not common.

So the thing we are looking for that stand out, are EQ's that happen on the big black lines, or more specifically at/near junctions, that DONT fall within the red/orange/yellow zones of normal EQ activity.
There are plenty. MANY... Kansas and OK stand the heck out do they not?

Let me zoom into that area a bit to give you a better feel for what I am talking about. Notice better how the quakes seem to follow lines? They might not be perfect, but the DUMB map is inexact. Its more of a guide than a specific.

Lets take a look at the NE area now. There are some smaller hazard zones there. But still quite a few anomalous quakes in the area, well within the potential boundaries of what we are looking for.

What conclusions can we draw from this? Well, the fact that in the past few months we are seeing EQ's in the NE where there were none is something VERY interesting. That was always one of my sticking points about the DUMB war argument, is that it only seemed to be happening...

on the West side of the country, nothing on that VAST grouping in the East. Well, now we are seeing some activity over there that wasn't present before. Activity that cant easily be explained away by normal EQ activity either. So. Take that as it is. Not ALL EQ's are DUMB war...

But some certainly could be. Ones that don't fall on known fault lines, etc. It takes some knowledge and digging to figure out which is which. You cant just see and EQ and say "DUMB WAR!!", it has to fit into certain parameters to be considered as such. Each grouping individually

needs to be evaluated based on ALL of the information.
So, some definitely interesting things habbening underground. In time I am sure we will know the truth of it all. But we know SOMETHING is habbening.
