Hey Engineering Manager friends:

how often do you think “Do you know what I was good at? Software. Computers rarely led me to full on despair in the same way that this job does. I should quit management and go back to writing software”?

Asking for a friend.
No really. Is this normal?

I'm at like every three to six months.
Loads of people commented. I’m fine. This happens regularly because people are a wildly more difficult thing than code.

I miss the regular dopamine hits. They’re far less frequent now.

Also, shout out to the immense crowd who thinks I must suck at this. I’m at least mediocre.
