Dear @ScottMorrisonMP
What is your reply to speculation surrounding your termination from both NZ tourism and Tourism Australia?
There has been mention of a lack of integrity at NZ tourism and the alleged mismanagement of $134 million from Tourism Australia. #Accountability 1/3

Also @ScottMorrisonMP
During your time in immigration, treasury and now the PMO, there has been a significant blowout of costs across the board & criticisms from auditors about accountability & value for money in many government contract arrangements. #auspol 2/3

Do you @ScottMorrisonMP concede that it's understandable why the general public are concerned that the government is corrupt & that $billions are being misused &/or misappropriated from the public purse?
How do you intend to be accountable for the discrepancies? 3/3 #auspol

In 2006, tensions between Morrison and Fran Bailey, the federal tourism minister, were suggested to be the reason for Morrison's sacking from Tourism Australia. Neither Tim Fischer, Fran Bailey nor John Howard would comment on Morrison's dismissal. #auspol https://www.smh.com.au/national/so-where-the-hell-is-he-20060726-gdo1fg.html
Last month (Nov 2020) Michael West Media suggested a lack of transparency & accountability surrounding Morrison awarding the $180m "Where the bloody hell are you" campaign to a specific ad agency, was behind his sacking from Tourism Australia #auspol https://www.michaelwest.com.au/where-the-bloody-hell-is-it-did-scott-morrison-lie-about-the-report-that-saved-his-bacon-at-tourism-australia/
Late last year (2019) Karen Middleton & The Saturday Paper revealed that a 2008 audit report was scathing about the management at Tourism Australia, particularly in relation to 3 major contracts worth $184 million. #auspol https://www.thesaturdaypaper.com.au/news/politics/2019/06/08/fresh-documents-morrisons-sacking/15599160008252#hrd

The 2008 Tourism Aust. audit report said information had been kept from the board, procurement guidelines breached and private companies engaged before paperwork was signed and without appropriate value-for-money assessments. Remember these words. #auspol
