Some thoughts on the Nifty Gateway x Beeple event:

1/ Incredible vision by @beeple and @niftygateway to advance a new medium and tap market demand. $1mil volume in 24hr speaks for itself.

2/ Is this a "rising tide lifts all boats" phenomenon? Or does this push other artists to explore a physical/digital bridge for their work?

3/ My guess is they've connected with existing collectible merchandise market which requires the physical component. I anticipate awesome shots of
collectors showcasing their Beeple frames along other great physical art pieces.

4/ But there will be converts. I've seen it myself with the Meural frames. People "get it" when they see analog representation of #cryptoart. I hope digital artists will be able to tap this new demand.

5/ How should collectors adapt to these market conditions? It's intriguing to see fundamentally unlimited open editions trade at 2x-3x premiums.

It's easy to get caught up in the hype so I always go back to the adage: "Buy art you love".
