Hustle culture is a subset of supremacy culture. It includes all the behaviors and performances that allow you to survive and THRIVE in toxic capitalism and supremacy culture. It’s ableist and patriarchal and not anti-racist but includes a lot of “diversity”

Hustle Culture demands you get yours. It’s hyper individualistic. It’s pro-competition, but tends to reward those already winning. Its anti-community but pro-entourage

Hustle Culture promotes performances of superiority and uses capitalist flex aesthetics. Performing wealth, communicates access to wealthy, and place in upper class society. Hustle Culture is about escaping lower-class not improving it

Hustle Culture creates social capital is performing labor and work ethic. The pride is in the grind. Working yourself to death is admirable. It encourages transforming all aspects of life into monetized labor. It encourages the myth that you are working for yourself.

Hustle Culture folks defend Supremacy Culture because they identify it with their class privileges. Mythology of a level playing field justifys superiority. Folks take pride in the ways they succeeded and will take insult at critique of systematic inequity and inaccessibility.
