A lot of Trump supporters, Proud Boys out in DC this afternoon for another pro-Trump march. More people are continuing to arrive:

Hundreds of people are marching from Freedom Plaza to the Washington Monument. Even more people are back at the plaza, where the rally is ongoing:

Police are reportedly closing off BLM Plaza (presumably to try and preemptively prevent clashes).

A fight just broke out as a group of Proud Boys march towards BLM Plaza. PB claim the guy started it (unclear) and police quickly intervened. The group is now on the move again:

Proud Boys are angry with police for protecting BLM Plaza... a few scuffles broke out as some harassed the police, and more officers arrived as people inside the plaza sprinted towards the Proud Boys
Police just intervened in a fight between some PB members and people in black bloc. Some people are being detained and there are police all over the place
There are several lines of police. Some of the lines are pushing people inside BLM Plaza further back while others are holding strong to prevent the Proud Boys from entering:

A lot of police, PB, Trump supporters and people in black bloc around McPherson Square. Police had shut parts of the area down to keep all the groups separate

Some Trump supporters walked through the square and were confronted by people in black bloc. Police intervened as the situation began to escalate and BLM protesters did not seem happy about them being there:

Police just arrived as the Proud Boys began to walk back up and some BLM protesters are fighting them. One officer fell to the ground and another lost his helmet:

Police continue to try and separate the groups as tensions rise. Officers eventually managed to separate everyone and pushed one group back.

Proud Boys just found the black bloc protesters again, but police are already here with a human blockade. Tensions are super high — people on both sides seem ready for a fight
People are angry at this woman for dragging her scared dog through the protest as she streams. One says he doesn’t care what side she’s on but that she should take her dog home:

Proud Boys cheer upon realizing that the group carrying another BLM flag are actually more Proud Boys. Police just arrived to the area as well.
Another huge fight just broke out and multiple people went down, including a police officer. People are claiming that someone has been stabbed — Have not confirmed this, but an ambulance did just arrive.
A lot of police are out now after the fight and alleged stabbing. After milling about for a bit, Proud Boys/pro-Trump people are starting to move:

Police are holding multiple lines and preventing any opposing groups from clashing. It’s about 11:30pm and although the scene is tense, it’s evident people are tiring and the groups are getting smaller.

A LOT of police just arrived to this area (Vermont and L). There’s not that many non-police people here so I’m not quite sure what’s up
The crowds are continuing to disperse after a long day in DC. Police are all over downtown.
