Whether you allow them to address from the stage or not, their contribution cannot be discounted...
Much before this call for "Dilli Chalo" was given by farmers union, the singers were holding awareness campaigns across Punjab....the Batala rally being one of them....
For those who have not followed this movement in Punjab since it started....the Batala rally must be watched....
Atleast Lakha Sidhana and Deep Sidhu, whom I have heard a lot, kept stressing on two things
1) read books, read history
2) identify the problems of state and those responsible for it
I have never heard any politician, or a mass leader, or a youth leader in Punjab asking youth to read books....
