I wish more people who see the whole PH/Visa thing or read that dipshit NYT article understood that these platforms routinely and constantly remove content deemed
'nonconsensual' by Visa regs and that 99% of it has nothing to do with the consent of the actual performers 1/
PH removed a trailer of ours for a feature about a girl possessed by a demon as 'nonconsensual'. I guess the demon didn't ask for consent first? Anything with bondage has a 50/50 chance of being taken down even if it's explicitly consensual. And forget about lesbian vampires 2/
Professional actors being paid for their work and signing releases is not 'nonconsensual' porn just because they're playing a sleazy prison guard or crazed hypnotist. Visa has long been at war with plot/storyline, not actual revenge porn or actual nonconsent. 3/
It used to be porn needed to have a story to be deemed artistic and not 'obscene'. Now it's no problem posting a 10 guy gangbang but I get busted for filming stuff my parents could've seen at a drive-in theatre in 1974. We're going backwards and it's Visa's fault, not PH. 4/end
