Just behind Haaland (10) + Lewandowski (12) in the Bundesliga goal charts is Wolfsburg's Wout Weghorst (9). Was close to a move to Spurs this summer.

Spoke to him last night after he scored for the 5th game running. He's been working with a mental coach. More on that in thread.
Weghorst to the Bundesliga world feed: "I always used to have superstitions, like putting on my
left shoe first, but I have been working with a new
mental coach since the start of this season. I am always
someone who wants to give everything and I push and I push and give 100%."
Weghorst cont.: "Now I have learned a little
bit to also let it go + to just try to enjoy the soccer
+ have fun at the level where I am now. I know that I
give my best and I also trust my talent and it’s there.
It’s amazing how it’s going and it’s the most wonderful
thing to do."
Wolfsburg coach Oliver Glasner on Weghorst's changes "He scored a lot of goals in the last two seasons and, when I speak to him, the topic of the Dutch national team often comes up. I told him that he has to let it happen, so I think he is just letting it happen at the
moment."
Weghorst on being 3rd in the scoring charts: "Usually the talk is just about Haaland and Lewandowski. I like to be the underdog and to keep scoring goals, and then we’ll see at the end of the season. It wouldn’t be a good thing if you didn’t look at it as a target.”
"It was just happiness, pure happiness. When you are on a run like this, then football is the most amazing thing to do."

Weghorst on the feeling after scoring the winner v Eintracht Frankfurt last night (and having scored in five games in a row now)
To finish, here's a GIF of Wolfsburg's Wout Weghorst wagging his tongue around.
