Many articles state that Kurdish separatism is heavily fueled by #US & #Israel, in an attempt to undermine regional powers such as Turkey, Iran & Syria. Kurdish separatism is seen as a way to weaken these powersâ grip over their citizens & #Kurds as footmen to use against enemies
It's true, Israel has been attempting 2 influence Kurdish politics for a long time. The Kurds, often biased by their own hope for an independent state, misperceived this as solidarity of 1 stateless people to another. But Israel has adopted general interference policy decades ago

It's not hard to see why Gurion's Periphery doctrine is still being applied to the Kurdish people today. It needs the Kurds as a tool to use against its threats: an unpredictable Turkish president, an anti-zionist Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, & of course archenemy Iran.
It is thus common knowledge that Israel & Iranian-Kurdish insurgent org's have common interest in weakening the Islamic Republic of Iran. Which is also the main reason Israel has shown major interest in monitoring Kurdish terror groups like #PJAK+ arming, training& financing them

Pulitzer-prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh writing in The New Yorker, supported foreign involvement, stating that the US military & the Israelis are giving the group equipment, training, and targeting information in order to cause destruction in Iran.
Seymour Hersh also published an article stating :"Now, Israel has 100s of agents, including members of Mossad operating in Kurdish areas of Iraq. In addition, Mossad is conducting covert op's in Kurdish areas of Iran & Syria.

In a book published by Routledge in 2016, co-authors Robert Scheer and Reese Ehrlich write "The Israelis are also helping train PJAK for its armed forays into Iran. But given the sentiment among Arabs and Muslims, the Israeli government tries to keep its activities quiet."
Phyllis Bennis, academic at Institute 4 Policy Studies in Washington says: "PJAK is made up of Iranian Kurds whose members attack Iran, but who are also based in the Kurdish region of Iraq. Israel supports PJAK's anti-Iran mobilization."
As you can see, academics & prize-winning authors are backing the claim that Israel is arming, financing and training them, in an attempt to use them against Israelâs enemies. Kurdish people should realize well they are used as footmen to weaken Iran, Syria and Turkey by Israel.
