As we seek the truth about Bharat and her past, an important step is to first clean out the muck that has settled deep in our system through our schooling. This book by @AtriNeeraj ji and @munieshwer ji is very empowering.

It is only when I started reading this book that I realized our NCERT books are far more toxic than what I had ever known and in ways I could not even imagine.
I could never recall much of school history due to the practice of vomiting out on the answer sheet and never re-visiting. Yet, the poison in the words had seeped into my brain with the power to alter my perception, judgments, behaviour, and views.
Brainwashed Republic elaborates on how such a strong influence has been made possible and the unscrupulous manipulative ways that have been employed in writing textbooks to shape young minds.
What we have in our history books is mere propaganda. We are brainwashed and far from being independent thinkers unless we have undone the mess created in our heads with the study of this wrong history that has been cleverly fed to us at an impressionable age.
Unexpectedly, as I read the book, tears rolled out rapidly when I recalled how I argued till no end with my grandmother when she wanted to give offerings to Brahmins. I was about 17 and I did not know why I hated Brahmins but I did. I am glad dadiji lived to see me transformed.
I felt my dadaji was a "kattar" Hindu. Now I am viewed as "kattar". Irony. Looks like he experienced the history I later discovered for myself (beyond school books).
I went to Ajmer-e-Sharif in my early 20s and thought Sufis were great. Where did I learn this from? Reading the Brainwashed Republic I realized this "Sufi glory" was in our history books.
The list could go on... Please do read the Brainwashed Republic and if you have children who go to school, the book will empower you to guide them correctly as they suffer a painful mental manipulation through textbooks even today.
We are indeed grateful to have access to the correct history. May we make the effort to explore, change ourselves where we have been wrong, and plant the right seeds in generations to come.
Bharat Mata ki Jai 🙏🏾
