Please research places of business before getting services done. And by research I don’t mean asking fb for recommendations. I mean look up that salon’s state inspection score. Call them and ask them questions about sanitation with the service you want.
ie. getting a wax
Ask the salon prof. what their license is (esthetics, cosmo, nails, etc). Because in the state of TN, nail techs are NOT licensed to wax ANY part of your body.

Ask them if they double dip the wax sticks (even if they use a new wax stick on you, dipping that same stick into the pot of wax is NOT sanitary).
If they get offended, that salon is NOT for you, sis. They should be COMFORTABLE and CONFIDENT they are doing it correctly.

And if they tell you they don’t double dip, watch them. They should never hesitate for a new stick EVERY TIME. And if they do, end the service and leave.
Redipping the stick can give clients STDs and other infections and diseases.

They might tell you that the wax gets hot enough to kill bacteria. That is a lie.
That is misinformation, due to the fact they may not be licensed to wax so someone who wasn’t an instructor may have told them that because they weren’t licensed to wax either.
