This story reminds me of the time I was at PVR many years ago, I went to watch a movie on my own. As I usually do. Didn’t carry any cash in my wallet except my debit card (foolishly), went to pick up popcorn for myself before the movie started.

...the cashier told me they weren’t accepting cards and UPI/Paytm hadn’t been invented then yet. So I had no choice but to look for an ATM. There was an older gentleman standing behind me and he stepped in and paid for my freakishly large tub of popcorn.

...and he said, “You don’t have to pay me back! Enjoy your movie and your popcorn!”
I often think about it today. It was just a tub of popcorn, and someone offered to buy it for me because they didn’t want me to miss the movie and I think that was really kind. 3/3.
