Here's the full text of the pre-print Tavistock study (not yet peer reviewed). But WHY WAS THERE NO CONTROL GROUP?!?! This data is almost useless without a control to compare it with! And only 44? But the big takeaway is that puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones did nothing to improve mental health for these kids, as has been repeatedly claimed. What are we even treating, then?
Science this bad surrounding something so experimental and invasive and permanent is MIND BOGGLING! It's like dysphoric kids don't matter at all... just their ability to make money off of them.
It's just so... half-assed.
Further question: how the hell is a 13-year-old girl supposed to "store gametes" before going through puberty??? You have to be shot up with hormones DAILY in order to mature enough eggs to harvest (with a big needle in your side). It's a huge undertaking!!
