The male-centric mythos of hunter-gatherer early humans should be dispelled.
The reality is we were once largely gatherer-hunters, who ate a lot less meat than we do now.
Women as well as children played a central role in gathering food.

What meat humans ate may have been gathered from scavenging more than hunting, too.
Which makes sense as long ranged weapons weren't readily available, and that's what makes hunting much easier for those who are hunting.

Interesting to note that early big-game hunters of the Americas may have been female.
Which futher shatters the male-centric hunter mythos that is often used to justify the brutality against animals today.
"You aren't a man if you don't eat meat"

When there's talk of "paleo", let's be historically accurate. It was a festival of plants, not meats and other animal products. The reality is early humans never ate like "advanced" societies eat today. Our bodies did not evolve for meat-centric diets.

I hope this helps to dispell a lot of the "early human" / paleo misinformation being spread by some who attack vegans on Twitter and elsewhere.
Because what they are promoting is downright dangerous.

Infact so-called paleo/keto diet that is focused on eating large volumes of animal products are dangerous for the human body. It lacks soluble fiber, is abundant in saturated fats and proteins which are difficult to digest, and promotes heart disease.

Meanwhile a balanced vegan lifestyle (including a 100% plant-based diet) is thought to be among the most healthy, if not #1.
So think it over.
Eating like cave people that never existed is a dangerous and silly fad.
Veganism is the future.
