I hope to write a long post about health beliefs soon but the short version of the diet part is: If you want to be healthy and vital you should ask healthy and vital people you admire about their diets and you should experiment.

Bodybuilders in the 70's were the true scientists because they were testing their theories every single day. Do you know what they found that worked? "liver, fermented foods, butter, and soups made with meat close to the bone."
Simi and I together consume about a stick of butter each day. Boomers literally don't believe us when we tell them.

Yeah I do not eat a keto or "low carb" diet. We bake bread every week! And I love french fries, etc. I just fry them in tallow. Just most calories should come from nutrient dense sources.

What is called "science" is not a catalog of true things by any measure. Bad methods and bias are the norm, not the exception, so resting any authority on "science" is despicable.
