My personal perspective on this is that in terms of who is at fault, as with every conflict, there's fault on both sides. At times, the moderators have shown aggression towards Dream, both before the investigation began and during.

However, Dream has also been largely at fault. He has personally insulted some moderators, claimed that they banned him for cheating for "easy views" and that there's not enough evidence to ban him.

Let's debunk some Tweets: this one here is mainly dedicated to trying to get people onto Dream's side. He knows just the run isn't in question here - it's all of his runs over the period of time which the mods looked at. https://twitter.com/dreamwastaken2/status/1337531631972855815

Additionally, complaining about the time period or length of investigation just shows how much time the moderators put into the investigation and the amount of detail they wanted to include. I don't know how complaining an investigation is "too long" is ever a defence.
