Here's a summation of my thoughts on the establishment vs. left division in the democratic party, and why I have a problem with how it's framed.

There's this one sided aspect in which people act like the moderates are good at winning elections and the left is getting in the way-
-of that and if we just accepted incrementalism we would make more progress, and also this stuff that democrats in the fraternity are just trying to maintain basic governance.

But I'm saying that by THEIR OWN STANDARDS they have utterly failed.
They haven't delivered truly consistent incremental progress and haven't stopped the erosion of functional government, and on top of that theres plenty of evidence that they lose elections because they suck at the craft/practice of electoral politics in a non-ideological sense.
So its not just that their approach is one I disagree with on the goals/approach, its that the idea that their approach even works is demonstrably false.
