I’ve always hated group-think and mob rule. I’ve never been in a “group”. In school, everybody had cliques, but I wasn’t a part of any of them and floated between them with ease. You don’t become an independent via group-think.

On Twitter, powerless people like to make themselves feel powerful using mob rule. Cancel culture. These people aren’t to be feared but pitied. They’re mad at their (*our*) situation and this is all they have.

But this mob mentality only gets the desired result if the person they’re “cancelling” wants to be in their club.
