I post a lot of delulu stuff on this acc so I want to explain how I personally think about candy, evidence, and truth: a thread
it's really easy to conflate these two ideas: "this piece of info makes it likely that bjyxszd" and "bjyxszd makes it likely that a bjyx-flavored conclusion can be drawn from this piece of info" ...... we don't have diff words for them, we just refer to both as "candy" 
I'll call them type 1 and type 2 candy to make it easier lol. maybe another way to differentiate them is: in isolation, type 1 candy is more likely to persuade someone on the street that bjyxszd, and type 2 candy is more likely to persuade them you're a crazy conspiracy theorist
examples of type 1 candy for me: sneaky finger heart, gg's artwork clues, their synchronized oasis activity points, gg wearing vlone and skater boy clothes, old cow eats young grass, gg's unbroadcasted our song comments, dd's shanghai flights
examples of type 2 candy: basically everything else??? for me almost everything else has a little bit of "oh yea this rumor or weird oblique reference or random visual hint helps me believe [cute bjyx thing] but I was already ready to believe [cute bjyx thing] bc I believe szd"
an easy criticism of bjyxszd is like "lol all the evidence consists of blueberries and hotel curtains. ppl be wildin"

the blueberries are a good example: idk about you, I'm definitely not drawing any conclusions from blobs in blueberries, BUT... I already do think ggdd hung out after tencent awards, so I'm like, sure, maybe dd's silhouette did show up in this shiny blueberry part??? lol???
or, take dd's birthday art this year: the analysis of the linework could be convincing that gg drew it, but more convincing is that I already think they're together and I totally think that a giant sap of an artist boyfriend would draw cute manga for his love person's birthday
or, take when they were both in beijing: all their posts *could* refer to anything but, again, I already think they're together and if you're dating someone and in the same city you'll almost certainly meet up and then it's a lot more likely that your cryptic posts are about that
there's no clear line between type 1 and type 2, things can be both I think. every time ttxs bros maybe hint at yb's relationship with xz I'm like "well, I believe it because I believe bjyxszd"... but then the aggregate of all those hints makes me also believe MORE in bjyxszd
mostly the distinction doesn't matter bc they're just beautiful men in china it's all just screaming and I love to scream, but sometimes when it comes time to give an account of yourself and what you believe and why, you just... want to feel mentally organized about it, you know?
you couldn't tell it from the way I fell headfirst into tinhatting rpf but in my regular life I really value critical thinking, rationality, and the questioning of arbitrary authority 
and I think that's why I care so much about trying to be precise with myself about bjyx stuff

to be clear: at the end of the day I know nothing about the truth of their relationship and private lives! but at the same time, I have a % of confidence in bjyxszd and it's important to me that I understand how individual pieces of information affect that confidence level lmao
