So some thrilling news: An elderly male, diabetes, cholesterol who I admitted to the ICU 11.5 days ago with #COVID19 and #mycoplasma pneumonia, needing oxygen initially in escalating manner, up to BiPAP, was discharged without oxygen or any other issues. He looked great!

Meds: Zithromax, Dexamethasone, Pulmicort, Zinc, Vitamin C and D, Remdesivir & Convalescent Plasma on day1. He didn’t need anything else, nor was he given any thing else. I might point out, again, this was exactly what @realDonaldTrump received (sans @Regeneron) and he did great.

Thank you @realDonaldTrump @HHS_ASH @VP and the rest of the Pandemic Team for making short and skilled work of this. I can not stress how early recognition, testing, care, and if need be admission (which not everyone will need) helps. Nice way to start the weekend!
