Over the past 2 years Xbox has received ports of the Kingdom Hearts series, many Final Fantasy games, Dragon Quest XI S, and the Yakuzas.

@XboxP3 @aarongreenberg and everyone else at Xbox has done a great job bolstering Japanese games on Xbox. But there are still some gaps
Now that #TheGameAwards2020 are done and Yakuza 3-6 have been announced for Xbox Game Pass here’s a big thread of some JRPGs still out there that Id love to see come to Xbox. I dont think any of these suggestions are too wild, theyre all available on other current platforms
Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered and Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom would make excellent additions to the Xbox ecosystem.

Both have a beautiful Ghibli inspired art style (Ghibli involvement in 1) as well as a charming world and characters. Some Pokémon vibes
Star Ocean First Departure R is an enhanced port of the PSP remake of original Star Ocean game from the PlayStation.

Star Ocean The Last Hope is already available on Xbox 360, One, Series S/X. Would be nice for Xbox players to have access to where the series started.
Alliance Alive HD came out in 2019 for every modern platform other than Xbox and is an HD remaster of the 2018 3DS game.

A fun throwback to 90s era JRPGs with a fun cast and an unusual system of learning abilities. It would be nice if an Xbox port could join Switch, PS4, and PC
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD is an HD remaster of the 2002 PS2 game and has been announced for a 2021 release on Switch and PS4.

Probably the most highly regarded game in the popular SMT series, it would make a great launching point for the series on Xbox and PC
Undertale is not a JRPG from a Japanese developer, but it is a very creative JRPG by independent developer @tobyfox

Released in 2015 and is available on essentially everything except Xbox. It would be great to have a version of one of the most acclaimed indy titles of this gen
I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphear are two smaller JRPGs from @tokyorpgfactory and published by @SquareEnix

Both games have unique atmospheres and use a 90s Final Fantasy era Active Time Battle system that any 90s JRPG player will be familiar with. Available everywhere but Xbox
Octopath Traveler, another @SquareEnix JRPG is one of the most visually stunning ever made with its unique take on a SNES-era artstyle

Available on Switch and PC. I’m unsure of it’s status as a Nintendo-exclusive, but since there is a PC port available it’s worth a tweet 🤷‍♂️
SaGa Frontier Remastered is the latest of the SaGa games to be remastered by @SquareEnix for modern consoles.

After being Romancing Saga 2 and 3 to Xbox, Square has decided to skip Xbox for this one. Which is unfortunate as it’s possibly the best in the series
Last, but not least we have Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal. These games need no introduction and Persona is the most popular JRPG series that is currently unavailable on Xbox.

Hopefully @Atlus_West & @SEGA are serious about bring Persona to more platforms, including Xbox
I couldve kept going (Secret of Mana, Trial of Mana remakes, FF7R, FF14) but I should probably stop slacking off at work.

If you read all this thank you 🙏 pls keep supporting JRPGs on Xbox so Xbox stops getting skipped. Keep up the good work @XboxP3 but let’s fill some gaps💚
