Add to that the fact that Nick was attending high school in a very blue area. The social pressure to disavow anything too "right-wing" compelled many conservatives to be skeptical of Trump.
Not to mention the fact that people's opinions change throughout their lives - especially compared to when they are 17 years old (Nick's age in 2015). Need I remind you that the brain doesn't fully mature until age 25? 3/
And let's not forget that the dissident right was still yet to reach the mainstream at this time. The "alt-right" hadn't reached it's zenith yet. "America First" was seen as more of a historical slogan. 4/
This is to say that high-schoolers who only have seen PragerU vids will espouse PragerU ideology as THE correct conservative ideology - especially when it appeared to be the furthest you can go in a 2015 deep blue area. 5/
I could go on all day about how stupid this is, but the "daily grifter" has only one purpose - to ankle-bite the obviously successful and ascendant America First movement. So, I will end here. 6/6
