One of the benefits of this executive & personal coaching training has been helping me get clarity on who I want to work with and how I want to help them (aka, a niche).

Here's the thought-process that helped me gain clarity, for those interested.

One issue I struggled with was should I focus on what I'm good at, or my ideal client?

I've worked in healthcare for years. So I'd be good at working with healthcare leaders to improve productivity and develop work/life balance. But I'm trying to move away from the HC field.
I'm tired of the pathology model. It's the whole reason I'm moving away from therapy and toward coaching. Focusing on the healthcare field doesn't facilitate my own goals of self-actualization.
. @McConaughey has a story where he owned a small record label. One day, the phone rang and he hesitated to answer it because the business was emotionally draining. He realized he'd rather be an 'A' student in 2-3 things rather than a 'B' student in many. So he shut it down.
This stuck with me. His lesson was we should focus on activities that energize us. If I went back to healthcare exclusively, it would drain me.

So niching into healthcare is a no-go. But what's left? What was my ideal client?
I looked at the common thread between the most memorable therapy clients I've had:

People with felonies, men with anger issues, oppositional teenagers, and other people who had an issue with authority and the status quo.
I'm oppositional. My friends are black sheep. I love working with people who want to disrupt their industries and who march to the beat of their own drum.

In a word: Rebels.

What do rebels want? Revolution.

That was my clarity.
I empower rebels to revolutionize their lives.

That's my mission. Those are the people I want to target.

The disruptors, rebels, black sheep, trendsetters, visionaries, those who challenge the status quo in the hopes to change the world for the better.
Ultimately, as a psychologist I'm trained to optimize human behavior.

I do this using a 3-step collaborative process:
1. Identify your strengths

2. Identify your values

3. Apply your strengths to develop a life aligned with your values

This applies to your personal or professional goals.
Want to be a better leader or inspire others?

Feel stuck in life and need help gaining clarity on the next step?

Want to improve your well-being or work/life balance?

There are hundreds of goals I've helped therapy clients achieve. Now I'm ready to do the same with coaching.
My coaching is about transformation--revolution.

That's what you can expect when you work with me.

Coaching enrollment slots will be limited because my time is limited. I give 100% to every client, so I will have limited availability to focus on quality.
I'll update this thread when coaching enrollment slots become available. Should be within a few weeks.

Let me know if you have any questions.
