The best advice my dad gave me when I was deciding where to play football in college:

“If you tore your ACL the first day of Training Camp, would you still want to be there?”

If the answer is yes, that’s where you should go!
Football is a huge part of your decision, but if you get injured and can’t play, would you still want to be a part of:

- The Education
- The Team Culture/Camaraderie
- The Local Town/City
- The Alumni Network

Consider the Field, but make sure you also consider everything else!
When you visited a school did you meet future Coaches & Teammates who could support you through moments of adversity (injury, failure, etc)?

If the answer is yes, go play with and for those people!
College Football will humble you.

At some point, in some way.

Expect it.

Surround yourself with people who are working to be the best they can be and go to a place that will help you achieve your best both on and off the field!
