Traffic modelling predicts 70% lorries arrive in Kent WITHOUT correct docs to cross Channel.

Only 25% able to become “border ready” within 12-24 hours.
As a result queues of up to 7000 lorries expected in Kent and delays of up to two days.

Cross Channel flow reduced by up to 80% each way.
Three sites outside Kent - North Weald Airfield (Epping),  Warrington and Birmingham airport designated as transit checkpoints for lorries heading to Dover. Inland border facility also at Holyhead, Wales.
All this as #covid19 could potentially impact border fluidity due to absenteeism amongst port/border staff
