Just people left to survive day after day, when people are hurting badly
And when they desperately need help the most
You fire them.
Leave them w/ nothing, but untreated disease
To protect a shield, a name or brand
Instead of doing the right thing

GIVING PEOPLE A CHANCE to tx the underlying conditions
To get healthy & feel loved & supported when they need it the most
And to be brave enough to publicly declare the truth

This is modern times
And it’s wrong
And it is the inevitable end result of not doing anything to support teachers for the last year
Asking them to just “figure it out”
Which makes this a cultural failure of compassion & caring.
